My name is Aidan. In 2018 I went with One Giant Leap Australia to Space Camp in the USA.
The trip to America and Space Camp was such an amazing and enjoyable experience. Before the trip, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in life and what career I would want to pursue. After the trip I am still not sure, but I gained the confidence and knowledge that I now know I can pursue any career I want to, with dedication and determination.
Bob and Jackie gave me such an amazing opportunity, which would have been a mistake to miss out on. The trip, with all the experiences we had, all the challenges we faced and all the people we met really boosted my self confidence, and improved my ability to talk to others, in a public speaking setting as well as on a more personal level.
Although it was challenging and intimidating to go on this trip, the experience is amazing and eye-opening, and I would gladly go again, and am planning to in 2020.
