My name is Pooja and my hobbies are reading, writing stories, photography, playing sports, dancing and listening to music. I love travelling the world and going sightseeing, even though I get travel sick.
Having the opportunity to be part of the Space Camp was an exciting experience, it made me more sociable as I was able to make a lot of new friends. The atmosphere was overwhelming and the memories are unforgettable which will stay throughout my entire life and I will treasure it dearly. This experience allowed me to develop newfound leadership skills as well as having connections with talented scientists, engineers and explorers who have dedicated their lives to discover and create everything that involves space.
Some of my most cherished moments include Disneyland and Universal Studios however, it was the actual Space Camp that took the cake. I realised that to achieve something in life is to put a lot of effort to be successful. Everything about Space Camp was awesome and if I get a chance to go again , I will do it in a heartbeat.
I would like to thank Jackie and Bob for planning the entire trip and providing thorough information about the Space Camp Trip to the kids at Blakehurst High school. I would further like to thank my teachers (Mr Skamanis & Ms Kandylas), who provided full support whilst on this USA Camp trip and I am very greatful to the people at the camp for teaching us new things. Last but not the least, my school principal, Ms Kapsimalis for her continuous encouragement throughout the trip.
