Hey! My name is Shalin and I’m a high school student from Sydney, Australia! I received the glorious opportunity to experience space camp first hand and it was the most amazing experience to date.
Growing up I have always had a passion for astronomy and attending space camp only increased my desire to work in the field. After completing high school, I plan on studying astronomy at university and fulfilling my dream of working in a space agency!
Space camp never failed to push me past my comfort zone through various, exciting activities. Our missions were especially challenging as were required to complete an entire mission to Mars all by ourselves! I made some amazing friends on this trip and I am beyond thankful to One Giant Leap for giving me this amazing opportunity to chase my dreams!
