Space, by its very nature, must be innovative. The workforce required brings new ideas, experiences and perspectives. OGLA believes there needs to be a strategy of inclusivity in the industry so that we welcome diversity into the STEM workforce that global industry needs. In order to create this community, not only do we have to identify what skills the Australian space industry actually requires but we need to change existing cultures and ‘how it has always been’.
