My name is Sam and I have been to Space Camp twice so far – 2018 and 2019.
The One Giant Leap Australia experience has been amazing and inspirational for me. It has made me aware that anything is possible.My passion is Open Water Swimming. With the confidence I have now, I hope to swim the English Channel in 2021. I enjoy competing and pushing myself.
Since being at Space Camp, I realise that if you put your mind to it and work/train hard you give yourself the best opportunity to succeed.
I am very grateful to Jackie, Bob and One Giant Leap Australia Foundation for helping me to open my eyes and dream big.
I look forward to my future with more confidence and determination now that I have been lucky enough to have had these opportunities.
