Hi – I’m Josh and I am a Cadet Corporal of the Air Force Cadets here in Albury at 412 Squadron.
I went to Space Camp with One Giant Leap Australia in October of 2019. It was such a turning point in my life and it opened my mind to the many career paths available in the aerospace sector.
Being tolerant, working as a team, and applying knowledge were things that were highlighted in the Space Camp missions. Meeting people from other schools and countries made me realise that aside all of the physical differences, we are all the same in sharing our passion and interest.
It is an intense 11 days that pushes everyone out of their comfort zone. No matter how well prepared you are, there are always anomalies! I’ve always had an interest in Engineering. In my own time, I have resumed studying 3D Printing, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). I race performance quadcopters in my spare time and I have been ranked 2nd in Australia for Freestyle in March of 2019!
I now have such a passion for Space Exploration and our future endeavours to break the chains of gravity. I am keen to be a part of revolutionising the world but without the need for an economic collapse! I push STEM and engineering in all I do in hope of inspiring others to share my passion and join me in my quests!
