Hi, I’m Lisa and I’m from the far North Coast of NSW. I became involved with One Giant Leap in of 2018 and was given the opportunity to attend Space Camp. This opportunity allowed me to develop leadership and communication skills and create amazing memories and friendships with likeminded people from all over the country.
Space Camp allowed me to explore space in a more hands-on way through small activities including building rockets and rovers as well as simulated missions. These activities allowed everyone in attendance to bond and for me to discover my passion for engineering.
Because of One Giant Leap Australia, I am pursuing a career in Engineering. One Giant Leap has provided me with many opportunities to pursue my interests and for anyone with a passion for space, I would highly recommend attending Space Camp or being involved with One Giant Leap.
